Where do mod "Templates" folder contents go?

I don't have a"Templates" folder yet, so where does this folder go for mods? Does it go in the root "Automobilista" folder, at the same level as "GameData", "Series", "Plugins" etc? I do not think it goes inside the "GameData" folder. I just downloaded the NASCAR 3 series pack and inside the zip folder, the "Templates" folder is outside the "Automobilista" folder, so I am not sure where to put its contents.
