Physics Where to Find Information About Cars

I want to transform a Honda Civic EK9 that I have in the game into a base EJ6 or something similar. It's very easy to find information about the torque curve and all that stuff, but how can I find about suspension and things like that?

Shop manual, online forums, and the junkyard are your best bets for anything post '60s. Back in the '50s & '60s, the car magazines and a few books had such information in them.

For my 2018 Focus ST, motion ratios & spring rates were known, but I had to weigh the parts myself for unsprung weight. For shock valving you need a shock dynamometer or you can estimate 50-75% damping of the springs.

For historics, use the FIA Historic Database - https://historicdb.fia.com/ and AMA specifications https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Search/Home?type[]=all&lookfor[]=AMA specifications&page=2&pagesize=20&ft= the organizing bodies required. This will give information on dimensions, engines, transmissions, axles, springs (sometimes spring rates), jounce, rebound (sometimes), weight and more.
For NASCAR, use the Chrysler Document Archive https://www.aerowarriors.com/cda.html which includes wind tunnel tests, setup sheets, horsepower and other information like optimal rake and ride height (via wind tunnel testing).

And NASCAR rule books - https://aerowarriors.com/rules/70nrS20-1.html which will tell you min ride height, maximum rake (in later years), minimum weight and a load of other information to keep your mod within legal parameters.

Have fun!!
