Budget £260 ish but they all look the same albeit some have more boost speed. I recognise all the brands but deciding is another matter.
One 8 and one 6 pin is what my current 770 uses I think.I have the MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G GeForce GTX 970 4GB.

Quite happy with it. Runs with a higher base clock speed. Note: Power delivery requires one 8-pin and one 6-pin PCI-Express power connector.

Same as me Mr Coin, very happy with it. You can't go wrong really Jim. All quality cards, I had ASUS before that's the reason I stuck with the Strix, I am happy OC'ing it and the 660Ti I had was bullet proof. Same can't be said of my T300RS which has died after 2 weeks.I'm using this one: Asus STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5. Very happy with it.
Told you to get the tx, mine is a year old next week.Same as me Mr Coin, very happy with it. You can't go wrong really Jim. I hope you will find the first response to the question in this link useful: hereHow important is having a back plate with these cards?
