My way:
P1 - track knowledge with 15-20 laps of fuel and trying to set good consistent laps, mix 2 no drs. Every 10 laps back to the pits to change something on the car
P2 - race practice (more fuel 30+), checking car behavior on worn tyres and again tweaking the setup cause in the race you drive 80% on worn tyres so you need stable car.
P1 and P2 I use all 3 sets of tyres available until their end of life.
P3 - Q practice, tweaking setup for Q especially
