Which mods to use for Le Mans-Cars?

Hi guys!

I'd love to drive with the cars that are being driven in the current 24 hour season, especially in Le Mans 2022.

1. Which car classes would I have to use?
2. Could you point me to the mods needed to have the cars most accurate?

Thanks in advance,
Herakles

VRC Prototypes. URD Clickenhaus and then various GT3 cars. Just check Lemans grid to see which cars to use. You can find skins for all cars from here at RD, mostly 2021 season though.
Note that VRC and URD cars are paymods.
I've just built a 46 car grid with these cars and skins. Obviously not an identical grid but close and all cars are good driveable mods or original cars.

Edit. Just realized this is AMS2 forum and I misread your post. What I wrote is for AC. But there's no Le mans track for AMS2 so you have to use AC or Rfactor 2 anyways if you want to experience Le Mans in full.

These are the current WEC classes:

AMS2 doesn't currently have any Hypercar or LMP2 prototypes. The closest you can get is the Cadillac DPi, which runs in IMSA's top class and is somewhat similar to the last-gen prototypes that ran in WEC.

As far as GT, the WEC cars are similar to GT3 cars, such as the ones that show up in AMS2. (There's also a GTE car in AMS2, which is broadly similar to what runs in WEC.)

It's probably worth mentioning that Le Mans isn't in AMS2, although there are other tracks that can or have hosted WEC endurance races. There's also a good selection of tracks that host IMSA in the Racing USA DLCs.

There's also a full field of Brazilian endurance racing (the P1-P4 classes) although I don't know enough about that series to make recommendations.

I am guessing La Mans will be the extra track that comes out for the game. Though no one else shares the hope that it is Mugello instead. I would be happy with either and it seems lots of people use games like AMS2 to setup fantasy seasons and not just multi player so La Mans might be the better choice. It is just in my experience with multi player very few people ever use La Mans. I would also suggest to anyone racing against the bots to play fair with them if you find a corner they struggle with just make a rule that you are not allowed to pass. I noticed some people talking about setting the AI to 120 and then when you watch them race they just dive bomb the AI on a slow corner. The AI is lots of fun but you have to work with it to have the most fun. I have also found tracks with few or no slow corners seem to be the most fun. Spielberg 74, Daytona, Imola 74. These are super fun with the bots.

Will there be a way to find a trackmod for Le Mans into AMS2?
All the modded tracks for AMS2 are PC2 ports, and while LeMans is in PC2, it's very probable that it will be released as official content by Reiza.

So I don't think the guys that have converted the tracks will do it knowing that it's a pretty open secret the track will come someday as official content.
