If I'm trying to arrange a weekly race, why is that considered recruiting? I don't get it.

When a site ( as Race Department or other ones ) has its own servers and organizes regular race events ..... I can understand that making one's own racing offers may be considered as recruiting.

That's finally the basic reason.

NB: I never find the main rules again in the forum, but I guess that's surely a rule that's explained in the general ones.

Thank you @Jempy . That is "recruiting" . We don't allow recruiting for races outside RD here on our Page. Or races here on RD, that are not handled by our Staffmembers..

So there could be 50 people around the world and multiple "staff members" who would all love to do some revival racing at Goodwood every week, but Race Department is not the place to make that happen because terms of service? Is that basically where we're at?

You can, if you dedicate 100 of hours here on RD to setup servers, writing articels, moderating threads etc in your free time, be a staffmember. But at the moment we have all we need.

Why not contact the staff member who runs the AC club and ask him if he would set up that combo to get some idea of the number of members interested.
