F1 2010 Will a reinstall delete my career?

Does a reinstall delete your savegame? If so, can you back it up from 'my documents' and restore it later?

Just wondering if anyone has experience of this before I do it.

dont know for sure but u can copy and restore it later (documents/my games/FormulaOne/savegame/Autosave_e00000698045cbb6_0)

Yes you can, i did it myself. After re-install go through the same interview proccess and select the same name, team and answers as before then exit game.
Then copy/paste and overwrite your savegame folder and you should be back where you left off before re-install.

That is exactly what i did so try it.

Simply use your DVD. Open the install-file and click remove game. While removing you will be asked if your savegames have to be removed also. Click no and de savegame folder will not be deleted. Then reinstall the game and off you go.
