Tracks WIP - early 60's Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen, I love this track since GPL days, now i am going try to recreate a early 60's version for the project (up to 1965),as also to allow THR guys had a complete 1967 F1 schedule.
All WIP by now, but track is just beatiful.

Did you make the track more narrow by 10 feet over mine? It was made wider in 1971.

GPL track is a total disaster. I wouldn't use anything from that. It may be too late now but I did a layout for it and you are welcome to look at it if you want.

track width is 8 meters.
i feel some more work is needed at straight after the loop, looks like there was a drop there .
also had to find out if tunnel was there at early 60's (looks like not)

Where you see the white armco was the tunnel. It's been a while since my research but it was there around 65 or 66. That back straight should be the same as mine up until the turn. As the location of the tunnel never changed. I'll dig out my layout and send it to you.

i drove that GPL demo for 6 months or so, until game arrive to Argentina, 320x240 software rendition, with keyboard

the guys at THR decided to use the 60's Watkins beta for their GPL champioship, still a lot of work to have a final version but you can give a idea what to expect
