Can anyone please share good settings for WMR?
I am on Odyssey+, pretty beefy system, i9-9900K, 1080Ti, but still can't make it run stable 90 fps with as good image quality as modded AC?

I don't have a WMR but there are some things that apply to all. First of all, pcars2 AA is badly implemented. I control my SS and AA through the oculus tray tool and steam VR. maybe MSAA on low in game but leave their SS filter alone. That is how i get the best looking image for the least amount of performance hit.

Make sure you have 3d grass turned off too and shadows on medium.

Actually, what are the settings you are using atm?

Thanks Miguel, I was trying to use VR settings from pinned topic on official board.
Runs and looks like poo.
Any WMR users here?

I have PCars2 with every thing at maximum and 150%, it looks and drives gorgeous with my 1080ti/CV1 Combo.
Probably runs at 45fps, but I don't care since it looks great and I cannot see the difference between 45 and 90 without a display telling me which one it is running at.
What is the obsession with "90"?
I run all my SIM's at ultra because that is how they look best, even AC, with all the new shaders, real mirrors, etc..... does not hold 90, except in practice, but it look better than ever and that is all that matter to me.

Found some decently running settings, seems like it does not like high SS in SteamVR, had to drop from my default 210% down to 168%.
For sharpness tweak used this
Documents\Project CARS 2\graphicsconfigopenvrdx11.xml

<prop name="SharpeningStrength" sharpeningstrength="1.300000" />
<prop name="SharpeningClamp" sharpeningclamp="0.090000" />
<prop name="OffsetBias" offsetbias="1.000000" />

Still find AC with MIPMAP LOD BIAS at -1 sharper and retaining details at a longer distance.

Hi Andrew

My graphicsconfigopenvrdx11.xml:
<data class="GraphicConfigData" id="0x423D7F40">
<prop name="Name" data="" />
<prop name="Build" data="1108" />
<prop name="Version" version="2" />
<prop name="Mode" adapter="0" width="1280" height="720" refresh_num="60020" refresh_dem="1000" />
<prop name="Vsync" vsync="0" />
<prop name="FrameLatency" framelatency="1" />
<prop name="AntiAlias" antialias="3" />
<prop name="SMAAFXAA" smaafxaa="0" />
<prop name="Windowed" windowed="1" />
<prop name="TextureFilter" texturefilter="1" />
<prop name="TextureResolution" textureresolution="2" />
<prop name="Brightness" brightness="10" />
<prop name="CarDetailLevel" cardetaillevel="1" />
<prop name="TrackDetailLevel" trackdetaillevel="1" />
<prop name="ShadowDetailLevel" shadowdetaillevel="1" />
<prop name="MotionblurLevel" motionblurLevel="0" />
<prop name="EffectsDetailLevel" effectsdetaillevel="2" />
<prop name="EnvmapDetailLevel" envmapdetaillevel="1" />
<prop name="MirrorEnabled" mirrorenabled="0" />
<prop name="MirrorEnhanced" mirrorenhanced="0" />
<prop name="EnvmapReflectionDetailLevel" envmapreflectiondetaillevel="2" />
<prop name="GraphicsLevel" graphicslevel="4" />
<prop name="SuperSampling" supersampling="0" />
<prop name="LowSuperSampling" lowsupersampling="0" />
<prop name="VRSuperSampling" vrsupersampling="10" />
<prop name="SharpeningStrength" sharpeningstrength="1.000000" />
<prop name="SharpeningClamp" sharpeningclamp="0.090000" />
<prop name="OffsetBias" offsetbias="1.000000" />

"VRSuperSampling" set to 2.0 in-game, and the sharpeningstrength above, made the biggest difference for me...I don't use SteamVR supersampling.

i7-7700k, 1080Ti, 16G RAM, Lenovo Explorer (so mileage may vary) :)

Cheers
