WRC Telemetry Patch - motion4all

# WRC Telemetry

This is a patch for WRC7, WRC8, and WRC9 that enables telemetry through shared memory.

Included you will find:
  • `WrcInjectionPayload.dll` -- a replacement DLL for `PhysXCooking64_s.dll`
  • `DirtRally2.exe` -- pretends WRC is DiRT Rally 2.0 for use with dashboards and motion systems

## Installation

Unzip `wrc-telemetry.zip` in WRC's installation folder then run `Install.bat`.

## Manual installation

Thanks. I did try it
Gears didn't work, always shown "1"
Speed was fluctuating, and there was a lag to
May someone has no problem with it. I use SumHub at the background

Good work!
Are you getting the d-box data?
Can you get rotational positions and speeds (if that's d-box data, I think there's no data for it)?
That unknown could be the slip angle.

Again, great work!. If you don't mind, I will add it to FlyPT Mover (https://www.flyptmover.com/).

Finally what a great idea. Unfortunately, it does not work with sim dashboard (https://www.stryder-it.de/simdashboard/) which supports telemetry via UDP port 20777 from Dirt Rally 2, but the server does not recognize the executable DirtRally2.exe which is provided, so the validation of the running application is not done on the name of the executable :( could a modification be possible?

I too am unsure how to get it to work with simhub... I saw that you mentioned in the the read me how to launch the dirt rally 2.0 exe with a protocol but I’m unsure as to how to do this.. please explain for a noob

thanks in advance

To use with Simhub, make a shortcut on your desktop for the included "fake" dirt rally 2 exe and set this launch parameters in the created shortcut

DirtRally2.exe /protocol extradata3

Run this then start WRC 9

Hello, I try to use it with Fanaleds, the game recognize Dirt Rally 2 however neither the leds & vibration are working. Also tried to change the port in Fanaled (which by default is 29999 & 30000) to 20777

could help me using it with SLIMAX, look like the tool is waiting for the app to start (status is "startup") hence does not read info until then

Para usar con Simhub, haz un acceso directo en tu escritorio para el exe de "falso" rally de suciedad incluido y establece estos parámetros de lanzamiento en el acceso directo creado

DirtRally2.exe /protocol extradata3

Ejecute esto y luego inicie wrc 9

I don't mind. I consider this public domain. Integrate and distribute at your hearts content.

Hi, do you know if this will violate Kylotonn's physics mod rules for online competiton? TIA :)

I would assume it does. If you care about your online scores, then don't use it.

That said, it only extracts information, it does not manipulate the game in any way, or give you an unfair advantage. This is my opinion however.

Concerning all questions regarding software that does not work with the provided Dirt Rally 2.0 emulator: This was expected. The Dirt Rally 2.0 emulator is only a cheat, a shim, a polyfill. It will only get us so far. You can try to fiddle with the settings and ports to get it working. The true solution is integrating the provided shared memory protocol as FlyPT is doing :)

I gave it a try, but sadly there no movement at all with my SFX 100.

The Simfeedback light goes green, but (probably) the provider is not receiving the right values.

All telemetry data in SimFeedback stays at zero.
