Wreckfest E3 trailer & THQ announced as publisher

So another last minute injection ensures that Wreckfest's life support systems remain on for now.

This game has / had huge potential but slow development pace and a small player base. And even that player base was divided, with those who wanted pure clean racing, and those who wanted some elbows-out barging unable to find common ground.

I read that there may be console releases - I think cross-platform may be vital here, for those of us PC users who saw the game as somewhere to let off steam and not bother too much about rules and etiquette.

But that was 2015.

Now - no VR, no go, for me.

I should think that if they did add VR support, I'd be back to spending hours on it every day, as I was doing in 2015. I think I racked up about 200 hours on this game 'back in the day'.

And it's still early access! There's some irony right there.
