WTCC 2011

The Honda s2000 that you mentioned is a 2.0 litre engine without a turbo, so you can not compare it with a 1.6l turbo engine

the Honda S2000 is a naturally aspirated 2000 240CV
la Cruz is a 2000 naturally aspirated 300 hp,
the provision should be similar to that of a sports bike.
But a 1600 turbo does not have the power as a low-speed TDI
because the station does not use the turbine geometry variables.
The 1600 Turbo has a provision similar to the naturally aspirated 2000,
but with peak torque of the 4000
and without taking so many turns as a aspirate.

This is an example of how I did the 1600 turbo.

Well, your 1.6T physics isn't good. I will explain why. :)

As I earlier mentioned, I managed to get some engine data from Michelisz's engineer. He said that these engines reach their maximum performance for example at 6000 RPM, and they keep this performance for so long (usually until blocking - in BMW's case it is about 6800 RPM).

Perhaps the translator did not do justice,
The turbo engine is almost ok (the water is 60 °)
If it were not for the provision 0-4000 rpm
that would not shame a big turbo diesel engine.
The thing is that you have used less elegant
the same engine for the aspirated 2000cc.

@Adam i've noticed a small bug. When you play against the Ai for example at Monza. All of the Ai cars hitting the rev limiter and running at least 10 km to short on the straight. I've found a solution to solve this. The gear settings in the .hdc files have to be modified if you want the Ai to have correct speed. I can send you the setting if you are interested.

Btw: The BMW is very fun to drive :cool:

You don't edit the gearing in the .hdc or it will be too tall for almost every other track. you need to create .svm's that the AI load for specific tracks. The name of the .svm must be the same as the tracks .gdb and then placed in the specific cars folder to be loaded by AI. Look at the WTCC 2007 SimBin cars for e.g.'s

something like this:

2007_Monza.svm
2006_Monza.svm
etc

head physics files don't need to be specified like that or present in a mods folder, as gMotor will load the default file from the .gcf's

it's in the main gamedata/teams folder

To load the file in .GCF the string must be so
HeadPhysics=..\..\headphysics.hed
not
HeadPhysics=headphysics.hed

So the end of August is there.
Are here any News for the Update? :wink:

The update is delayed to December (sorry guys, but this September I started my studies at the university, more thank 200 km from my home, and because this I didn't have enough time to do the update August and I won't have so much time in the following month).
