Welcome to the central discussion thread for the FIA WTCR race weekend at Zandvoort.
Having just confirmed a contract to bring Formula One racing back to the Netherlands from the 2020 racing season, Zandvoort completes a busy week by hosting the latest round of the 2019 FIA WTCR series, and an important weekend for the touring car stars this one will be.
Defending series champion Gabriele Tarquini is in for a difficult event thanks to BOP changes to his Hyundai team, and the brand new Lynk & Co Cyan Racing squad will be keen to make up for lost ground as the striking blue cars enjoy the benefits of a boost in power to help lift them further up the grid, despite strong showings in the opening rounds of the season so far.
It will be interesting to see how the racing unfolds around the current layout of the circuit in light of the Formula One announcement, and no doubt plenty of eyes will be on the race this weekend - so expect the WTCR boys to put on a big show for the fans during the three potentially action packed races this weekend.
