XAP Formula Renault 2.0 Wheel

Hi,

I am trying to build a DIY version of the XAP Steering wheel.
I found some good 3D models in the usual 3D printing websites.
However, the models available seem rather small with 240mm of diameter.
Does anyone know what is that is the correct diameter ?

It is 281,4 x 176.22 mm.

Their website says that the formula E wheel they make is 280mm, which is about the sweet spot of formula wheels imho so I'd go with that. Just make sure the bolt holes match whatever quick release you're using (usually 70 or 52mm).

Thanks, will post the updates as I go along. For now it will be bolted on a thrustmaster adapter.
Only going direct drive after the summer. For now I will update my trakracer fs3 to a profile rig.

@BenKay and @Fairytalq thanks. I will definitely ask for your help. I've designed a first draft model based on a picture and the width you guys posted.
I only have time to work on in at night so progress is not great.
Also I am sorting out the parts I will need like what screen and so on.

Just finishing a formula 3.5 wheel today actually which is the same form but with additional buttons. As well as the up/down shifters, I’ve designed dual clutches, push-pull shifters on top, 12 position mode switch and a bunch of other goodies. Lots of work but really happy. I went all hall sensors rather than switches so much more reliable as per the real wheel.
