Xbox Controller Manager for PC

I installed the drivers for my Xbox 360 wireless controller on my Win 7 PC and needed something to turn the thing off, as I had to remove the batteries after playing a game or wait until it shut down.

I found this small program on the net called Xbox 360 Controller Manager, it runs in the background and you just press the guide button, a box pops up and it will let you turn it off using the A button.

Not sure if I am allowed to post a link but just search for Xbox 360 Controller Manager.

How does it work when playing a game in Steam? The guide button displays the Steam overlay while in-game, so unsure how the controller manager will effect this.
