XD Not Working - Game Crashes on Intro

I recently got GTL and have been told about XD. So I went to go and download it and when I go to start up the game it crashes. I've reinstalled directx multiple times, and had other people send me there d3d9.dll files and still not working.

I have Windows 7 but have turned off all the UAC features, tried running it compatibility mode and as administrator.

If anyone could help I'd be very grateful.

Sorry man - I know nowt about Windows 7, so I'm not going to be much help here :frown:

I have the same problem, but with Race 07

. XD in GTL works like a charm. No idea what could be wrong.

does it work ok with rFactor?

if it does that should rull out any probs relating to DiretX

Wish I could help you Will. I'm guessing you've downloaded the latest DirectX? Have you also tried DX9?

I don't know if the runtimes are any different but it's worth a go. Does XD work in the Race series or rF?
