NEWS! Our team is in the process of putting together a stock car mod based on the NASCAR Xfinity Series for RFactor2. It is currently in an early beta test state where it will be open to select people within our organization before releasing it to the public. We have a tentative release date of July 1st, 2018 for its public debut.

Our group has modding expertise and spent a lot of time in previous years doing so, specifically creating the entire Xfinity mod found on American Stock Car Sim Racing, which is presently being privatized and distributed on unauthorized use. Do to this, we felt the hard work and content our group exclusively put together should be put to use in a modern racing simulation on DX11 and made for ALL to race who want the opportunity. Furthermore, our intent is to make as little updates as possible so that people don't have to deal with the hassles of changing physics, constant updates, and a massive headache.

We've not only converted that work but also revamped, updated, and changed many things to get it prepared for rF2 (including a brand new cockpit with all new materials and objects). Additionally, we are looking to hopefully have a 2018 NASCAR Xfinity car set released and produced by a number of our talented painters.

Although we are excited about its potential, note that it is in the early stages. Those who know us personally can feel free to get in touch if we haven't seen you in a while and be involved in the early beta process. We want to get some test nights together during the upcoming weeks and hope to put a league together when the entire mod has been finalized.

As many are already aware, we wanted to make this move two years ago but were unfortunately saddled with appeasing to a league filled with people on outdated PCs and a former team member who was highly resistant to change. We figure we owe it to our core to give this a go. Here are some very early screen shots of what we are presently working with.

Been updating and adding a bunch of different things the past week, including getting the cockpit up to par.

In that area alone we've
1) added in the moving arms
2) corrected the mirror mapping sizes
3) adjusted side mirror placement
4) driver can customize logos inside the cockpit itself (in this photo where the Ganassi Racing and Credit One logos are can be customized)
5) driver can customize roll cage and interior color
6) corrected dash height

And that's just a very small sample of what has been done the last seven days. It's a process but things are coming along faster than anticipated. We will hopefully share more things as the week progresses.

A big thanks for all the interest and inquiries we've received from various outlets (it surprised us to say the least to get that much of a response). As of now, everything is so early that we are not looking for a whole lot of help but when the time comes, we look forward to having a public release.

Update on what we're doing with the Xfinity mod:

1) Graphically we're about 90% done with just some minor luxury additions and tweaks to be finalized. As you can see via the renderings posted, our incredibly talented team of painters have been putting together a variety of both fictional and replica paint schemes so there is a car pack upon the mod's release. From the screenshots we've posted, we think it looks pretty darn good from a graphical standpoint. It definitely kicks the ass of anything rF1 or ARCA based we did in prior years.

2) Physics wise we're dialing in the intermediate and larger speedway package/tire to hopefully test out with real drivers in the coming weeks with some default setups included. Since the majority of the schedule is made up of those tracks, that's why we're placing the initial emphasis on getting that together.

We look forward to sharing more of our progress, possibly even getting some video up in the near future for all to see. It's an exciting time and we think there's potential to have some fun in potentially running a competitive league with the mod. We'll keep you posted.

Just letting everyone know that know, we are not dead! Reality is we have been working plenty hard on getting things ready the last few weeks and are simply making an effort to keep things under the wraps until everything is closer to being ready to go.

We have a tentative invite only beta release date set for July 2nd (subject to change) and are diligently progressing towards what we hope will be fun and enjoyable mod to race. More information on that will be available in coming weeks.

In comparison to the previous Xfinity mod our group created, there has been A LOT of updates and additions, including:
1) Brand new cockpit for all Xfinity series vehicles which includes multiple interior logos one can customize
2) Unique cockpit dashes for each manufacturer which are shown on the screen shots posted (despite being told by an ARCA/American Stock Car Sim Racing modder last year it could never be done...imagine that...)
3) Proper spoiler length, height and style for each track type
4) Proper passenger side window style for each track type in both exterior and cockpit views
5) 3D grille openings for all manufacturers in the front
6) Updated exterior view and chassis, including current window textures for 2018, a new window net, exterior mirrors, and backfire textures among other things
7) Brand new spinner with cockpit interior
8) Shaders and textures updated on all vehicles, tires, and other parts for DX11
9) Countless physics and tire updates which will be the main focus of work these next two weeks
10) Updated car templates, paint schemes, rendering scenes, menu icons, etc. which is still coming along nicely
11) Replaced old driver/helmet with rF2 driver and helmet models with animated hands on the steering wheel
12) Updated car camera views

And there's so much more I could write a list for the next half hour about, but you get the point. We'll keep you posted when things are ready to go to the next step. Thanks for all the continued support and well wishes from everyone, it is much appreciated! For now, here's some action messing around at Talladega today:

Good morning Friend, congratulations on working with the mod, I would like to know if you could help me in 2 details, the led rpm dial does not rise and the main, a little distance the cars are black, I thank you. hug
