Does not work:
Error: Bootfiles installed by another tool (e.g. JSGME) have been detected. Please uninstall all mods.
Press any key to exit.

I've reinstalled AMS2 completely.

That error happens when AMS2CM cannot find "Pakfiles\PHYSICSPERSISTENT.bff" in your game directory. If that file is there, you might have to grant the user write access to the game directory (had some reports of this on Windows 11).
Amazing tool. It really simplifies and makes a lot faster the process of installing mods to AMS2.
Thank you for your work! This makes life so much easier!
Very good work. Thanks
Thunderflash
Since the first version came out I have not used any other method. Just for the time you save it is worth it all. Thank you so much.

Brilliant, so quick and easy to use, especially no more bootfiles, i download the oo2core_7_win64 file into my directory and all is working great.
Many thanks
Fantastic and no longer need the bootfiles

I wonder how that will work when the next update drops though

at least on june we supposedly are not gonna need the bootfiles anyways but still great stuff best method to installmods atm.

and for those wondering there is a way to install Thunderflash mods through Content Manager you just have to pick the folders with the cars and make a rar featuring a readme with the car list and drivelines present on thunderflash bootfiles folder on vehicles/carlist and vehicle/physics/driveline

Glad it worked for you! It's always difficult to predict if it's going to work on the machine of hundreds of users.

I'll try to update AMS2CM to work with AMS2 1.5 as soon as that is available. Hopefully Reiza is going to provide an RC so that I can get a head start and release it as soon as the official release comes out.

Update: I have just released a script to automatically convert the ThunderFlash mods pack.
Hi, the program starts, but it gives me this error.
"Unable to load DLL 'oo2core_7_win64"

I wasn't able to reproduce the error, but I have tried to implement a fix in version 0.1.4. Hope it works for you.
This an absolute gem and makes me hopeful for the future of AMS2 modding.
Works as advertised, thank you!
we are truly blessed, boys..

Fantastic!

For cars, this utility eliminates having to manually amend vehicle.lst and driveline files.

For new tracks, they get installed without issue.

Kudos to the author.

(Donation happily sent.)
Just amazing

Very nice program for automating the installation process of car & track mods in AMS2. Thank you for making it open source; hopefully it can serve as a meaningful opportunity for potential collaboration to create a unified content executive.
Tried again, and it looks very promissing

can't wait for future updates

Thanks a lot
Works perfectly. Thanks a lot
Works very well, for those that have an issue with it not doing anything/starting, download .NET 6.0 from over here:

Thank you so much! I have added that to the prerequisites until I have time to provide an installer.
It worked for me. Installing mod cars or tracks is much simpler now. Keep improvimg it, please.

Thanks for the feedback. I have now uploaded version 0.1.1 that should at least show what the software is doing and wait for confirmation at the end. It doesn't yet contain a graphical interface, so it's only messages for now.
