Circuit Hawaii is a private multi-venue motorsports facility being developed on the island of Oahu, Hawaii for the local, national, and international community. This facility will offer opportunities for racing, club membership, tourism, entertainment, education, training, and youth mentoring that will provide economic stimulus for multiple industries in addition to providing a central home for local community events in Hawaii.

Circuit Hawaii - Real Racing In Paradise
The Future Home of Motorsports in Hawaii.
This is a fantasy version of the upcoming Circuit Hawaii. It is a concept and is not representative of the final design. This is being released to the public by popular request from our local community. The entire purpose of this fantasy track was to be used as a proof of concept for the Circuit Hawaii project. In this regard, it succeeded admirably and is partly responsible for making it a reality.
I do want to stress that this is a concept only. Driven International Ltd ( https://driven-international.com/ ) is currently designing the entire facility from scratch to be an FIA Grade 3 motorsports complex.
This concept is based off a fully modeled architectural design in Revit that was then built using Race Track Builder featuring scratch built buildings from and using Sketchup, Blender & 3DSMAX. Content Manager by Ilja Jusupov with Custom Shaders Patch & Sol 1.3 by Peter Boese is recommended for full enjoyment.
I have worked extremely hard at making the surrounding area as real as possible (at least from a distance) in order to sell the idea that, yes, a real racetrack in Hawaii would be possible. This meant modeling everything nearby to include the refinery to the south, the mountains, the auto auction lot, and the concrete prestress fabrication to the north. I think I've done a good job of bringing the area to life, however if you get close enough you can see that it's not perfect.
However, it is heavily unoptimized currently. This is my first track that I have ever built, and it was a learning process from the beginning. There are many things that I have done wrong or poorly. Many textures are repeated, some are not in the proper format, and it may require a beast of a computer to get decent frame rates (although mine does run it at 60+FPS, I have an i7-8700k and an RTX 2080). Thus far, the first few reports have been positive!
The file size for this is huge and yes, I'm embarrased but it will take much more time and work to bring it to a more optimized level. If anyone has any suggestions on how to do this, please let me know.
I'll continue to work on fixing the broken parts, but hope that you'll enjoy this for what it's worth. Credit to the original authors for any components I may have used (Most came with RTB).
All-in-all, I hope that a few of you will try this out...and support the development of Circuit Hawaii. Please check us out!

Too long to load?
If you dislike the amount of time it takes to load... to speed this up, you can edit the \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\circuit_hawaii_concept.ini and mark out/delete all of the [Material_DistantEmissive} lines at the bottom of the file. This is a feature that Ilja has been working on but enabling it causes the track to take a lot longer to load. It just keeps the emissives from blinking at night.
I uploaded this config in the Support section.
Non-CM Installs
As a fix for those of you without Content Manager, please use the JSON file I uploaded into the Support section. Drop it into your X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\circuit_hawaii_concept\ui folder and over-write.
Alternatively, you can edit the ui_track.json file and delete the entire "author" line. Apparently, it conflicts with base AC.
Quick Turnaround for Drifting
Oh, as a hint...the barrier in middle of the drag strip has been removed for quick turnaround after doing the twisty bits of the course. The current track is only setup for road racing. And that jump on the turnaround after the end of the drag strip is real fun. Reminds me of Ebisu, and you can get some air during your drift.
