This skin represents the WeatherTech Racing #79 Mercedes, winner of the 2023 Daytona 24hours that took place on January 28th and 29th , 2023 on the Daytona Endurance racetrack layout.
This skin suits the Mercedes AMG GT3 2017 car. As the actual car is Mercedes AMG GT3 EVO, there are some details that are not fully accurate, but I tried to match the actual car as much as possible and the general look allows it's use as well as own racing car or as opponent car with enough realism.
For installation, drop the « IMSA79.mas » file in the Mercedes AMG GT3 2017 / 3.53 (or highest, if any) folder
The car will appear under «Mercedes => Mercedes AMG GT3 => 79 WeatherTech Racing » in the car selection menu.
Sometimes life is easy ;-)... The original skin was designed by josap11, for the 2022 edition ... all credits to him... I, just changed the race number plates, modified some minor details and added the pilot names.
Credits : number plates made with the "Universal number template" by zerobandwidth
