Sweet memories of "Grand Prix 1" are made of this ;-)
I found the F1C version of this track on wookey's website.
Since phoenix was my very first street course in my very first RaceSim in the early nineties, the GTL version was a absolute "musthave" for me. So I spend a lot of time in re-painting the textures, fixing geometry for GTL and creating a new AIW from the scratch.
Hope you like the result lie I do too...
Unfortunately there was no readme file in the archive and no trace on the website who created the fantastic original version. Neither Wookey nor a posting at RSC leaded to the original author. So this time I hadn't any chance to respect his kind work, by asking for permission and giving credit in the readme.
If you're the original author pls. don't feel annoyed by this "unpermitted" conversion. I guess your track is worth to be kept alive in the current SIMs too. Pls. drop me a PM at www.altbierbude.de and I'll include your original readme file with the next update.
