The Porsche 917K car no. 49 in the 1970 Nürburgring 1000 km race was entered by the finnish "Racing Team AAW" (owner Antti Aarnio-Wihuri) with the drivers Pauli Toivonen (late Henri Toivonen's father) and Sten Axelsson from Sweden. The car was withdrawn prior to start due to the fatal accident of finnish team mate Hans Laine on car no. 9, a Porsche 908/02 "Flunder" during a pre-raceday practice session (Source: Wikipedia). I myself watched this race on site at the Nordschleife with my parents as an 8-year old boy. It had been the first motor racing event I saw in my life.
