I solved the errors on this version and the last version by renaming the folder to have a .7z file extension instead of the .zip one. Afterwards, the files extracted without any issue. I would recommend updating the mod to have that .7z file extension so that nobody else will encounter any issues, because your mod is awesome and deserves to be seen on track.
