5 RaceRoom Tracks to Try During Free Access

The vast selection of content in RaceRoom is free to access until June 25th, with more than 200 cars and over 50 circuits keeping sim racers busy. Among the tracks in RaceRoom are a few hidden gems that are exclusive to the sim - here are five lesser-known venues to try during the free access period.

Certain tracks are a must-have for any racing sim, as it is almost impossible to imagine them without the likes of Monza, Spa-Francorchamps or the Nürburgring. And while all three of these examples are present in RaceRoom, the title has many more that are not as well known or cannot be found as official releases elsewhere to offer - DTM tracks like the Norisring or the Lausitzring come to mind.

As a result, sim racers may be missing out on great pieces of tarmac to drive on. The free access period is a great opportunity to give other circuits a try, though, especially since they rarely appear elsewhere. Find our five favorites - in no particular order - on the upcoming pages.

I don't want to be that guy who complains about free / unlocked stuff, but I wish they had a way to still show / categorise which content I own and which I don't just so I could plan purchases when the Summer Sale happens. Right now absolutely everything is simply showing as owned content and I can't remember & distinguish what's what! Going to have to try absolutely everything as best I can and make notes throughout, which could be better really. But thanks to the devs for allowing this trial period anyway.

A (possible) correction re Macau: "the Melco hairpin is so tight that overtaking there is prohibited at all times - otherwise, the track can easily become fully blocked after a collision, as it still happens in other spots sometimes. The permanent yellow flag there is not simulated in RaceRoom"

I could have sworn that the yellow flag is simulated. I'm sure Crew Chief constantly calls "yelllow flag" on approach.

Macau is a trully awful track. I never understand the hype around it.
Blister berg, Charade, Most and Brno are tracks that aren't in all sims that are definitely worth a go.

If you go to the store page, you'll see what you owned or not (and which specific skin you own).

My favourite track is probably Brands Hatch, but it tends to be my favourite in most games. It took a while before RaceRoom got the full course version and it's much appreciated.

My under the radar pick that hasn't been mentioned yet is the Dubai Autodrome. I just find it has good rhythm and variety of corners. Out of better known circuits it maybe most reminds me of Bahrain. A baseline sort of circuit that's a good fit for junior formulae.

Out of those mentioned in the comments, Anderstorp - called Scandinavian Raceway in the game? Possibly. It has changed names a few times in real life. Anyway, it oozes history. Try the Touring Classics here. The Volvo specifically.

Sachsenring is a fun up and down ride that challenges any kind of car at all turns.

I do enjoy Dubai as well...great for GT3/GT4 endurance runs.

There are several tracks that aren't found in other sims and I always appreciated that about RRRE. Take Mid-Ohio, when is the last sim to have an official, high-quality version?

Along with Charade, I would recommend Ningbo as well. 5 variants, and you're not going to find it in other sims I know of.

try Knutstorp as well, its insane.. like a vehicular rollercoaster.. some of those corners and bankings are just incredible.
with slower cars like Mx-5 get some good door to door racing.

(in other news anyone else notice since last NV driver update OBS is choppy AF?)
