Scheduled for release on May 11, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 is just a month away. With that, more and more information about the game is revealing itself. But today, fans can finally reserve their copy of the game as pre-orders are now open.
So far, two different versions of the game are available to purchase, both of which bring their own perks. Though you will have to wait a while before making the most of your purchase.
On top of the regular game, pre-ordering the Standard Edition will give fans a special John McGuiness livery. With gold details throughout his bike and race suit, this is the look he sported in his 100th TT start in the 2022 RST Superbike TT. His first race of the weekend also pushed this legend of the sport over a centenary of race starts. A special moment fans can re-live in the upcoming game.
In its pre-order form, the Standard Edition costs €49.80. But for an extra €9.18, one can opt for the top-of-the-range Racing Fan Edition. Whilst this gives players the full game and the John McGuinness pre-order bonus livery, it features its own selection of perks.
The TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 Racing Fan Edition offers players 48-hour early access. Jump ahead of the queue and experience all 60 kilometres and 264 corners before other race fans. Furthermore, the range-topping version gives players a boost in the game's Career Mode. Whether that's more starting credits, a fast-track to TT qualification or pre-owned bikes, a leg up is always welcome. Finally, those that splash out get the 2023 TT liveries and bikes for free whereas the rest of gamers will have to purchase it as a DLC this summer.
If you pre-order the Racing Fan Edition on Steam, you'll also get access to RiMS Racing. Also developed by Raceward, it is often dubbed one of the best motorbike racing games on the market. Sounds like a good bonus for simply buying the new title early.
With its open world, reworked graphics and physics and a large variety of tracks, this game is expected to be one of the titles of 2023. If you're planning on doing so, now is certainly the best time to get your hands on the game.
