Looks like there's still no fix for my Fanatec wheel crashing the game. I don't like using a controller and downgrading the drivers means I can't use Fanalab at all. I'm giving up hope of it being fixed, wasted a lot of money on the ultimate version too.

I bought in Steam, saw way too many issues and refunded.
Maybe it's just me but I thought the ffb was about the worst of any game.
Driving on tarmac there was nothing, just a vague hint of opposition when going around tight corners.
Even the Grid games are more enjoyable! No, I'm not buying them either!

I'm having the same issues.

I had big hopes for this series when it started but its such a throwaway title imo, i have played each one less and less.

Would love a more sim focused open world game, with VR and decent FFB.

I enjoyed previous installations of the game but this become such a grind fest with no intelligent progress system

not sure, I thought that Forza Horizon 5 was a really perfect balance for arcade style game , compared to something like Grid2019, I find it a lot better
but YMMW I suppose

I don't have any problem with the FFB. Could it provide more detail? Sure. Does it tell me what's happening, letting me keep the rear end where I want it? Yep. Road racing or drifting is all manageable.

Too bad about the sucky Fanatec support, though. I'd prefer to use current drivers rather than dropping back to something like 346 (which in turn affects how the wheel is recognized in other games).

Well, I've got a Fanatec and Forza 5 sucked. Like super WTF crazy crap. I was trying to work out what I've done wrong, the game CAN'T be like this. But nope, wasn't me.
Is it a thing with Fanatec wheels? Does anyone have solid info?

Is sc2 officially supported by now?
No, but I get decent FFB with Forza EmuWheel and runs quite stable now. In my case it wasn't easy to set this up and I had to manually tweak the configuration.json so every device is listed. The goal is to mute all devices before launch so FH5 just see the vJoy-device with all peripherals in one. The FFB was very strange with my wireless Ascher-wheel, which also only works with tools like JoyToKey, but no problem with my Turn Racing over USB. My other stuff (GS-5, G-Belt, 3 buttkickers) are also working like a charm and no trouble getting those to run with Sim Commander and SimHub.

I had issues with my Fanatec wheel when the game launched but it runs perfectly since they patched it.
It doesn't feel great or anything, but it's serviceable for the 2 hours a month I play the game :p
