It is just a discounted 12 month membership, all the league wording is
A) Crap
B) Confusing
C) Means the sum total of sod all

Go ahead and use it, it is no different to any other discount code.

The promo code is intended to be used by place like RD who may be setting up leagues and have a users that still need to sign up for iRacing for the league. Doesn't stop anyone else from using it however.
