AI using different tires

I know that AI always go for the faster strategy and that's why they will always run with the faster tire avaliable. But it's possible to make them use different tires?

I suffer with this since rFactor XD

In the virtual world where the AI competitiveness is controlled with a strength function, why does it matter which tire they use. Kind of irrelevant isn't it? Just wondering, maybe I'm missing something...

I want to simulate the F1 rules. I think it was possible make them use two differents tires on race.
