Airplane Crash Malaysian Airlines in Ukraine

Breaking news on TV here. Flight MH17 of Malaysian Airlines crashed in the eastern part of Ukraine near Donetsk.

Its unclear whether its shot down or not.

Flight MH17 carried 295 people on its journey from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

Interfax reports it was shot down by a ground-to-air missile. ITAR-TASS says it used an emergency beacon.

Google Flight says its still flying.

They were estimating 20-30 dutch casualties at first as normally this line to Kuala Lumpur is more a transition flight with AMS being a hub for other airports.

Two hours during the press-co they announced at least 154 casualties, making this one of the largest national airplane disasters in our history.
