The new build is up for download, but most importantly: racing!

Featuring one of the most awaited cars in the current GT3 roster, the latest Assetto Corsa Competizione build brings some exciting new features along its equally marvellous new content.

If on the content front we now have, as said earlier, the Ferrari 488 GT3 racecar and the technical Hungaroring track facility, new features like custom weekends, which will allow you to make your own full weekends in full Blancpain style, both online and offline, and broadcasting tools for streaming are offered on the (rich) plate.

The changelog focuses also on some fixes and improvements that have been made to the core title, some of them asked loudly by the community like a 'Lock to Horizon' option and improvement to mirrors rendering. Furthermore, physics fixes to mass inertia, tyre model, tyre flex and brakes' heat influence over tyres temperature have been implemented, now resulting in better behaviour of the cars especially over kerbs!

Here you can read about it all.

Sadly nothing happend in the VR-department and you still can't even save setups. It's blurry as hell and runs between 30 (rain+AI) and 45 fps (hotlap+dry) with my RTX 2080 and no settings can really change that. At least you don't have to deal with the input-lag and the graphical wheel is in sync with your inputs.

Physics seems improved and feels more like AC now in the dry. In the rain it reminds me of pCars 1, but rF2, pCars 2 and even Dirt 4 and F1 are in another ballpark

performance is a little worse (hotlapping PR in the bmw was 120-144hz before now its 100-120hz)
the camera settings now doesn't seem to work, also the 488 has a much more pronounced lightening of the wheel for understeer, i personally don't like this effect being as much as that i like it very subtle, still no control options while in a race and the aa is either terrible (fxaa) or causing ghosting (temporal)

status disconnected.
What to do to correct that ?
I have no access to my driver stat, to the rating app in cockpit etc...
(I was connected sooner in the evening when I first launched the game.)

Guys plz, I‘m out of my rig. What means „TC2“ includes in 488?
Quotes out of the off. AC forum:
"Ferrari has two traction control systems. One is the standard traction control (i believe its TC1) that limits wheel slip. The second traction control (TC2) is more of a rotational slip limiter. Think of it as dynamic stability control. It is supposed to help keep yaw in check."

"Putting it in a very simplistic way: TCC to control spinning on straights, TC2 to control slipping while cornering."
