Assetto Corsa Custom Championship saves? PC

Hi all, hoping anyone can help. I've created a custom championship in AC that utilizes cars very similar in performance to the one I actually compete with. Even downloaded some of the Mod tracks that I race on. I use PC/VR (HTC Vive) and I've noticed that the game used to save my progress successfully on my 8 race championship and now there is no way to exit in VR once the first race is all complete without dumping ALL progress. Is this a file issue, a Steam issue, A VR/Steam issue? Only available button that doesn't dump you immediately is Replay, exit drops you out of the game, and back to Steam desktop. This seems new... Thanks in advance.
