Auto clutch default

I have just re-installed my PC after nabbing a "damaged" 15k Seagate Cheetah u320 disk from work. Before the reinstall GTR-E remembered my auto clutch setting. Now it doesn't. Ever. I can't find an out of race setting for realism where you might set it. Can anyone help? I keep forgetting to set it and stalling every time I hit a wall. (Which is often)

When you go to start your race, before the track loads, there is a Realism Setting screen which includes it.
Or the easy way, just use the F5 key to toggle it on or off.

its a pain. any settings you make after you load the track arent saved for the next session. gotta do it pre load. screwed my self with that the same going into a superpole on auto gearing after a fresh install. forgot about the shortcut buttons

Yeah, in the screen where I set up my race hosting settings (number of laps/2 races/rolling quali etc), there is a option for auto clutch which is always on. The problem being it doesn't translate across to my realism settings when in the race. Thanks for the F5 key info, mucho help
