Jenson Button and Ross Brawn have both been honoured in the New Year's Honours List. Button received an MBE for his amazing championship win this year, and Ross Brawn achieved an OBE for his services to Formula One and motorsport in general.

Button said his MBE was the 'crowning glory' of his championship year, while Ross Brawn said he was surprised and delighted to receive the award.

Next year, Brawn GP will be renamed Mercedes GP, after Mercedes Benz bought a 75% stake in the team. The two cars will be driven by two Germans, Nico Rosberg and seven F1 world champion Michael Schumacher. Button, meanwhile, will move to McLaren to partnership fellow countryman Lewis Hamilton.

Wow. Jenson really thinks he is that good. His car won, not him.
He is not bad, but no where near a Lewis or Michael.

Buller proof jacket on, commence shoot down

Tend to agree. Ross Brawn deserves a lot of honour for all his incredible work the last two decades in F1. I think Jenson is a good driver but not as exceptional as some others on the F1 grid. On the other hand, the driver with the most points at the end of the season deserves the credits :)

Ross Brawn deserves a knighthood and i find it funny how in UK everyone moans when we dont have a world champion but as soon as we do they pick holes in them and just moan about that.
