Yeah Kyle that doesn't mean that's was actual download speed is.

I don't know roughly how it works but an example would be if it say's your speed is 6 mb's that would roughly mean you download at about 600 to 700 kb a second

I know, it means how fast you download information from a website. Such as when you open a new page, how fast it is downloaded.

Actual direct download is a lot slower, yes.

Wrong again. Speedtest measures it in megabits and your browser will tell you the speed in kilobytes.
