You can get up to 2.5 on DSL but you have to use Annex M which not all ISP's allow & to see the full speed you really do have to live inside the exchange.

No DSL ISP delivers higher than 1mbit here, and download is usually: 'Max 20mbit'. So if you then have 14mbit you can't complain because the speed wasn't guaranteed.

If only I could stream through the university network. (80mbit up/down)

Usually Upload is higher, but they are testing the eonnection every now and then, so it goes up and down.
