F1 2016 Can someone please help!

My boyfriend has been playing f1 2016 and on career mode during practice session there are 'team objectives', one of the objectives is to get a clean lap. However no matter how many times he drives the track without crashing, cutting corners etc it will not accept a clean lap. Can someone tell me how he completes this please? He's a perfectionist and won't move forward with the game til he can do it!

It is easier for him to beat the clean lap objective in the track aclimatisation training phase. But i don't know the corner cutting rule setting that he is playing with. He should alter this rule to maximum...

What is that? (track aclimatistion phase) i told him this but he said that all it says is to complete a clean lap.. He can move forward with the game but wants to complete this bit for the 'points', sorry for being vague

During the practice session there are three types of tests. The first one is the track aclimatisation. During this test ot is easier to acomplish the clean lap.
