It won't load for me. Track shows up in game but when you go to race, game freezes on track loading screen.

Hi, @Pure_Racing

When you try to load the track, and it freezes, can you ALT-TAB back to the desktop (WIN + D in Windows10)... then you should see an error message that will help to sort out your troubles.

In most cases the track has been installed incorrectly or a second copy of the track has been accidentally placed into another track folder.

You have a copy of the old version somewhere in your locations folder. Search your locations folder for "carolina_motorsport" and delete any you find. Then install v2.

exactly the same. I know how to install the game data. I've done it with many games thousands of times. Just something isn't jiving with this track and my game.

I would double check for any stray Carolina folders. The errors you are getting suggest the track data files are not on the correct path. It could be some collision with another track/car mod.

Try a windows search for "CMP.scn" in your locations folder... Other than that I am out of ideas.

Maybe check that 'coreshaders.mas' is the only file you have in Automobilista\Gamedata\Shared. Some mods put others files there and it is know to cause problems...
