I'm using 5.4.3 on a core 2 duo iMac OS X 10.6.8. All running fine except some cars i download have really weird colours. Also a couple of tracks have flashing scenery. I've seen stuff about CG and shaders, with this version of Racer do I stay away from anything that uses CG's?

Yeah, CG shaders is the current shader type, it was introduced in the more recent versions (although it was over a year ago) so you have to stick to the older shader type.

Can't you run Wine? (macs use wine, right?)

Googled Wine...the site looks complicated, not sure which is for Macs, if any. There's also Darwine which is very old

Sorry I can't be of more use, I've only ever used Linux (which I had wine on for Racer) and Windows
