Change FOV of rear view mirror?

Is there a setting in a config file to change the FOV of the rear view mirror? My FOV is set at 40 degrees but the mirror looks like its fov is 120 degrees. A car that is 20 feet from me looks like it's 100yds away in the mirror.

I agree completely. There has been several times where I believed I was clear by quite a gap and slide back over into position after completing a pass. Then when I hit my look back button I think I must have scratched the paint off of the front bumper of the guy behind me. Very deceptive as is.

I agree with this, there is a big discrepancy from what you see in front and what you see in the mirror, you think the car in front is close and the car behind is far but if you look at the map it is the other way round

The year is now 2023 and I'm still looking for a way to change the FOV in the mirrors.

Using Content Manager, Settings>Assetto Corsa>System>Mirror field of view. Mine is set to 10 degrees. I assume that is the OEM setting, as I have never changed that.
