Hey guys.
I've been having quite a few issues with the left button on the front panel of my G25 recently. (since I race with one hand, this is the button I use for shifting up, so it's pretty important that this button is functioning correctly). It will need a bit of encouragement to actually initiate a shift, and sometimes it will do a double shift. It's obvious that this is a case of the button's electrical contacts being dirty and/or damaged, but how would I go about opening the wheel up to see what the problem is? would I have to take out the screws on the front and take the front panel off to access the button?
I'm asking because I don't want to ruin the wheel by doing anything stupid...
