Connecting extra buttons / switches to the CSL Elite wheel base

Is there any way to connect up my homemade double H pattern gearbox to the base so that the eight microswitches can be ''read' by the wheel base and so remove the need for a separate controller? On my old G25 I could do so, basically by doing a pin to pin continuity check on the gearshifter that came with it but obviously don't have the option without Fanatec's gearshift.
