controller setup; or "i think i wasted my money"

So my MadCatz Xbox 360 controller started having some exposed wires, and I replaced it with an MS Xbox 360 wireless controller. Now, the game isn't recognizing the new controller at all. Is there some trick to this? I tried the 2 default 360 settings, and nothing. Right now, this game simply sucked up my $30 and I can't play it. Honestly, I wasn't even completely sold on it being that good before I replaced the controller, now I'm getting really upset at spending money on it.

We'll see. I'm not "that" serious, so hopefully my controller will suffice.

I dont have any other controllers. All I did was remove the old one and installed the new one. And I'm sad to say I can't find the .ini file mentioned above.

How? It's in GSC/Userdata/Yourname
There is only one file named Controller

I assume you have downloaded and installed this accessory thingy from Microsoft?

Got it working....found and deleted the madcatz .ini, restarted the game and....voila, it worked. Thanks to everyone for their help.
