Tracks Converting from rFactor

Hi everybody.

I am relatively new in all this AC world and even more in creating content but I hope somebody here can help me. I am trying to convert a racetrack, Suzuka Twin Circuit, from rFactor (1) to AC. I know that Suzuka Twin is already created but the one available is a quite old stage and the rF version was pretty nice. It had various layouts including reverse.

I don't really know what software should I use, 3Dsim?

I will try to ask permissions to the creator of the original track but, what can I do if I can't contact him?

Is it possible to improve the current version of the track in like textures, modding...?

I can't tell you anything about the technical side, but if you cannot reach the original creator for the rF1 track, you usually can still convert the track for your personal use. There should be no problems if you don't make it available publicly without permission.
