Does disable refuelling affect tyre wear?

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been answered before, I did a search but couldn't find anything. I have a vague recollection of the fuel / tyre wear setting being one and the same in ACC previously, when I looked recently I can only see a setting to disable race refuelling but nothing about tyre wear. Does this mean that regardless of the race, tyres will always wear / overheat etc? This is for the single player championship mode if that makes a difference.
