@Wotever I may have found a few bugs/typos.

1. I wanted to add 4 buttons (no matrix) to my arduino setup but when clicking the add(+) button I ended up with 6 or more buttons. I only clicked 3 times to have 4. To make it work I gave the extra buttons pin 0 to connect to.

2. The labels for assigning buttons (Arduino) to the brightness of the leds are both Brightness +. Soo no label for minus. This is at the 7-segments and at the rgb leds.

+ question 1. I have been reading here and there some bits about the software and the support of iRacing (googling questions). If I'm correct SimHub learns new data from iRacing soo you can use it as a ncalc formula?

+ question 2. I'm using iFlag (https://github.com/simracer-cz/iFlag). Is this something that SimHub can do too? I'm starting to use a lot of apps and I want to trim it back to a few that can do more then one function.

Hi ! I just checked just in case this combo (1 TM1638 + MAX Matrix + LCD) It's working,

Concerning "screens" they address all the modules (tm1638 ... lcd ... ) at a time. So If you want to show something on the LCD you have to use the "second module" (first one will be the tm1638) "Preview as" only affects the editor preview. Showing too complex things on the screen list would have a negative performance impact that's why it still shows as simple 7segment, but it does not affects how the data is sent to the screen.View attachment 279669

Since you can see the hello world working I would guess that library and address works fine, the white squares are maybe just an empty content with a contrast a little too high on the board (the blue potentiometer on the back board) When you will put content in the second module (as seen above) you will get things more clear.
yeah , it worked man, thx.

I have similar shakers, would you mind sharing your settings so that I can try them?
Sure, but It really depends on how they are mounted on the seat frame, the material of the seat and the vibration insulation between the chair/pedals and the ground!

I'll post my simhub assetto corsa competizione file when I get home.

The ground insulation was a game changer, specially on the pedals. Before that I barely felt a thing. It all changed when I added these on the ground:

Thanks.

My rig is cobbled together with an old E39 BMW seat bolted to a GT Omega wheelstand with rear seat frame. Shakers are mounted as close as possible to body so two under pedal plate, two under seat base LR, one under seat front and one middle of seat back. Whole thing is isolated on antivibration pads under each foot and all on top of 6mm foam mat.

I don't have ACC yet, using Dirt Rally and PC2.

The reason I asked for your settings was your comment on having customised the engine frequencies, this sounded interesting.

Thanks.

Yes I customized most of them. The one I talked here was the RPM, which should start strong (low hz) and increase in frequency and get lower on volume until you dont notice it over all the other feefback. I could only do that with the sinus wave pulled way back (so the top of the curve begins at zero on the scale).

You can still load the ACC file and see it

How are those shakers being powered? you seem to have a very nice rig!. Im on a wood ikea armchair, so the shakers can almost lift it off :D

1 .2. I will fix that, thanks for the report ;)

+Question 1 : Yes indeed , when picking a property check "rawdata" and you will get access to the whole IR api data and they can be used in ncalc/js ...

+ Question 2: After a long hunting for a replacement hardware (as this one is deprecated by itead) I found a replacement, it's on my desk right now :D, coding the thing is the next step but it's planned :) It looks like code should be cross compatible with itead board used by Iflag from what I've read but I've not verified it yet.

Unfortunately few days ago, one of my e36 cluster backlight bulb does not work. So i replaced it to ws2812b, is there any formula to make the backlight to work properly? i can't find the related formula in the properties list. thanks!
You can do something like this using game running property :

Thanks for the answers and for looking into the flags. It would be nice if I could use my existing shield with simhub. But I understand that if they are to different from eachother that it could be hard to implement it for both.

Having a color led matrix in simhub can do much more then only flags...

Let me know if you need some help with testing if you haven't got access to the old board/shield.

Thanks, I'll have a look at the file when you upload.

The shakers were powered by a 7.1 Sony receiver but the power supply proved unequal to powering the 6 shakers together and blew the thermal fuse. To be fair to it, it wasn't rated for 4 ohms so not a huge surprise. I then bought 3 Thomann T Amp E-400s which are overkill for the shakers and quite expensive but they were B stock and so cheaper than the lower powered version at the time and the power gives some flexibility for the future for pairs / bigger shakers. I run these at just over half volume but am going to turn to just below half as a second shaker has just failed where the yellow plastic is glued to the metal surround. I am waiting for the epoxy glue to dry before I carry on testing out Shakeit tomorrow. The first glued shaker has held up well so far.

The rig has evolved from wheelstand wheel and pedals with an office chair, adding rear frame and car seat from scrapyard and then bass-shakers. It looks cobbled together but I use VR so don't see it and it is solid enough.

oh, so i guess the shakers aren't perfect! but for only 13€ each :D

I have a 7.1 7x105w 4ohms receiver, so far so good :)

here is the file https://mega.nz/fm/H3ISmKBL

I think that I drove them at over 100w so possibly my fault but I have seen others with problems. As you say for 13€ it's worth effort in making them work. They seem to glue back together OK, I'll see whether they hold up and drop the volume slightly. They do get very hot so I now have USB fans on them to cool them down.

I can't seem to download that file, is it definitely made public?

Hey all,

I have serious issues with SimHUB, it crashes all the time...when I say all the time, it is all the time. I don't even need to launch a game to make it crash, it is plain stuck and I have to force it down from the task manager.

Maybe it is due to USBD480 screen, can't say.

Here is a paste of the last log, I just selected RaceRoom (just to make sure it happens with everything, usually I am on iRacing or rFactor 2 but it is the same problem) :

I will take a look, could you send me all the log files on a ticket on github so we can discuss more conveniently and try to kick out this issue ?. https://github.com/zegreatclan/SimHub/issues

Hey, when reading my own log I realised that MAYBE it could be the USBD480 screen that causes this (not a real fix I was looking for, just to focus debug efforts) and it appears that when I disable it, it doesn't crash anymore.

Note that when I say it crashes, it actually hangs, SimHUB is still open but I can't click or do anything.

When I disable USBD480, it doesn't hang anymore.

PS : Will generate new logs since I deleted them to get new ones, didn't realise they were cycling with each launch...

I see the the recognised model is not the usbd480-wq43 I'm used to see usually, where does this screen comes from ?

It is a wheel sold by Z1.

I think there is a driver issue but fail to find any but the one from Z1...
Ah I already had issues with this one in the past, I really need to write to Henry (the manufacturer of the screen) to see how it can be solved. In theory the library was compatible with the whole usbd480 range, but this model is resisting.

Hi
I have a problem with displaying a blinking "best lap" event on my 7 segment display.
I'm using an LCD screen (2004) on module 1 which displays everything perfectly.
The 7 segment display is on module 2.
It show all the events fine, including current lap, last lap (event), low fuel (event blinking).
The only thing it doesn't want to trigger is the best lap blinking event. However, it does show the best lap only if it is the first valid lap of the session.
I'm using the default events in the software since many versions ago.
The 7 segment module is a new addition to my setup.
Thanks in advance.

I tested on another track (Monza) and it works there.
It seems SimHub does not store the AllTimeBest lap time on PersistentTrackerPlugin for the track Chang which is a mod track. It remains 00:00:00.
