First an apology for the delay in posting this news... although a few days out of date, we still want to bring this new, free, edition of Project CARS to the attention of those of you who have yet to sample this racing game for yourselves.

In somewhat of an interesting move by Slightly Mad Studios, the development team have released a free PC only version of the Project CARS game featuring five vehicles from the Pagani brand and three tracks, including the laserscanned Nürburgring and Nordschleife! The Pagani Edition of Project CARS contains the Pagani Huayra, Huayra BC, Zonda Cinque, Zonda R, and Zonda Revolucion and digital versions of the Monza Grand Prix circuit, the fictional Azure Coast, (sometime) home of the German Grand Prix the Nurburgring and of course the legendary, epic, wonderful and exciting Nordschleife. In yet more goodness from Slightly Mad Studios, the Pagani Edition of Project CARS is fully VR compatible for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive as well as supporting 4k screens... not bad at all for a free game!

No doubt SMS have released the new sample game as part of an ongoing commitment to their Pagani licencing agreement, it is nevertheless a nice touch that allows gamers who maybe haven't tried the full title yet to sample what the Project CARS franchise is all about. Supported by the Pagani brand, Horacio Pagani, Founder and Chief Designer of Pagani Automobili had the following to say regarding the new release:

“I’ve always been thrilled by videogames, and Project CARS sums all the things that I love about cars: the passion and the experience. I’m proud and honored to see the Project CARS – Pagani Edition, and I hope all our fans all over the world enjoy the possibility to drive our creations, especially the new Pagani Huayra BC.”

Maybe a own topic for them would be good. For instance, i can write some english, but in 70 - 80% of questions/answers i don't even react on it because it takes too much time for me to write/translate/rewrite/ and so on. For a lot of English natives it is maybe not to understand how horrible it is when you are non-english speaker and have to write in this language.

I'm not a native speaker but I understand the issue perfectly fine, rest assured. Then again, we want information on this page to be accessible for a big number of people - English is the language most of us share, so that's why we've made this decision.

Of course, private and profile messages are exempt from this policy since they're not as public as a forum post.

i can understand this, even when i use a different policy at the bobs track builder facebook page which i co-admin. I refuse there the "English only" policy. And therefore it attracts a lot of Spanish natives who can ask and explain things in their own language.

I tried this and sadly it confirmed my doubts about the game.

I recently rather enjoyed playing for a few hours on a PS4 with Pcars, but after trying this demo on my PC it felt hideous. Am so glad I did not bite the bullet a while ago and buy it on sale, I would have been tremendously disappointed.

Am not going to say more, other than it's obvious I have played the game in the format it was always meant for, rather than the one that caused all the trouble!!

Believe me mate, if a game needs that sort of set up time it really should not be released.

Plenty of other games have been released without needing a degree in controller setup before you can play them!

But I am not missing anything, so no worries.
