F1 2018 DX12 Beta now available

For those of you who know what DX12 is, Codemasters released a Beta version of the game with a DX12 remake - You can find the instructions how to access this on the Codemasters forums.

I wonder if it will bring any stability to the game and reduce the amount of stuttering...

From what we were told, it shouldn't look any different - it's mostly, hopefully, slightly better performance and better stability (a.k.a. microstutter reduction, hopefully). If everything goes well they said they'll take advantage of more features in the future.

well i tried it once at Australia Time trail. seems very smooth on AMD Cards (using RX470) and i think i even had more FPS with the DX12 Beta. and i read that the bigger impact on Performance is mainly for AMD cards. Nvidia Cards dont really run any better than with DX11

but its nice to see from Codies that they are give us the opportunity to Test Those Things.
