Surely FIA could not register/ approve a circuit in time ?

Therefor adding one virtual round would be awesome. Rightfully blurring the line between real and virtual racing and with an equal playing field. Love it!

Until now no cancellation of the F1 GP in April.
They (FIA and local authorities) will come with another official statement next week

Replace the race with something decent, like digging up the old Turkey track, or go to Bathurst, or just do the Nordschleife, seperating men from the boys (and Grosjean in the trees)

And what is the US admin belief about cases on the American soil? And what are the prevention measures taken within USA? It's easy to judge what others do, especially with a short memory (eg the years of inaction against AIDS). Meanwhile there are millions of guys in quarantine, hospitals built in a fortnight and industrial plants converted to produce individual prevention equipment. Just pray that the virus does not really spread in countries that are unable to do that, and there are many.

Western Nations should be capable of holding this at bay, however, the Sub Saharan and African countries would be further decimated: malnutrition and poor hygiene alone set the scene for a major continental epidemic. The so-called 'Spanish Flu' killed off more people than the entire 'Great War' between 1917 through 1921, a Pandemic that the 'First World' Nations need to be reminded of.
