Fanatec CSR mic problems

Hi all,

a good while ago i bought a fanatec csr. it is notorious (now) for mic problems.
I had a turtle beach headset and the mic stopped working with it. i bought a geotek wired headset and the mic is now not working.

for the VWEC i want to use teamspeak whilst listening to the in game sounds.

my question is, is there a way i can use a headset and mic without plugging mic into csr port ?

my only alternative is to use sounds on speakers for pc and run teamspeak through nearby laptop? but that might disturb other family members?

all ideas/knowledgeable answers welcome!
