Fanated Plug

I have a Fanatec formula rim with two missing pins .Is there anywhere I could get a replacement plug other than Fanatec. I have emailed support but no response yet.

The Quick release pins ? If so you can actually swap to other pins as Every single pin in the QR is not being used, only 8 of the pins are. So you have extra's if need be.

Yeah I read that moxley but Ive never used a soldering iron before. Also, Fanatec are looking to sell me the complete quick release system when all I need is the cable/plug!

Where are you located, Ask around in the Fanatec thread, Maybe a DIY type guy locally can help ya out.

i got a new cable from the pcb to the qr with all the pins attached from fanatec for like 20 euros delivered.
its a simple direct swap.

Thanks Brian. What rim was that for. They are determined that I need a newquick release. They told me they don't sell the cable on its own.

it was for my uni hub, i just emailed and said my cable was damaged and needed a replacement.
send them the product code and that you want that part.

So same plug for all wheels? Thanks I'll do that. It's a slow process with them.

It seems to be because it was a mclaren rim part that fits perfect into the uni hub.
